What we need
Our soon to open Kingpin Canberra venue, located in Canberra’s city centre will be a world class destination! Featuring our first-class menu, amazing cocktails and multi-faceted entertainment offering, our brand-new Kingpin venue brings with it the premium feel that makes our guests feel like royalty!
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our new venue.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will assume the overall leadership and responsibility for the management of our Kitchen team to maximise Food and Beverage profitability, whilst ensuring Total Guest Satisfaction.
 
So if you have
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a similar environment
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • A hands-on management style with the ability to adapt, partner and work with a team
  • Effective communication skills with team, management and suppliers
  • Computer literate with strong administration skills
  • Flare, enthusiasm and passion to create excellent cuisine 
  • Previous experience writing rosters and achieving food & labour costs
  • A strong desire to achieve business goals & targets
  • Flexible availability for various shifts during the day, night and over the weekend
